Welcome to Dreamlings

Are you ready to embark on a journey to dreamland with your little ones? We know that your baby (and you!) must be tired. The early years of sleep are so important, yet so difficult to navigate alone. We are here to guide you through the extraordinary realm of pediatric sleep. Let's create peaceful nights and joyful mornings for your family together.

Your child's sleep story is unique, and we are here to tailor a dreamy solution just for them, and to walk with you through every challenge and victory while implementing it. Here’s a little look into the process:

  1. First, we read your intake form in depth to get a strong understanding of your family’s goals, concerns, routines, habits, personalities, and preferences.

  2. We then use this information, combined with our sleep expertise, to create a custom, in-depth sleep plan for your family. We will provide a step-by-step sleep training program that helps you meet your goals for your child, while keeping your concerns and comfort a priority. Our sleep plans also include custom schedules, information on sleep development at your child’s age, ways to optimize their sleep environment, adjustments to make to their routines, and more!

  3. We will then send you your formulated sleep plan, with the option of a 30-minute, one on one video call to ensure you understand the steps outlined, to answer any questions you may have, and to make any adjustments to the plan as needed. As you follow the sleep plan, we will be there with text and email check ins to help you through each bump in the road, and to celebrate each success with you.

And just like that, you’re off to dreamland! We are so excited to make a positive, meaningful impact on your family, for the duration of the consultation period and beyond. We hope you’ll join us on this enchanting journey!

Meet Kayla

As a behavior therapist, nanny, coach, sister, and lifelong childhood celebrator, I have had the privilege of working directly with many different families from many different backgrounds. Each had their own values, abilities, parenting philosophies, traditions, beliefs, celebrations, and challenges. My primary objective has always been to take some of the weight off of families’ shoulders so that they could enjoy each other more abundantly. These roles varied greatly: enacting a communication behavior plan so that an autistic child could expand their independence; creating a scavenger hunt to meet the educational goals of a parent while putting a smile on their child’s face; creating nutritious meals that toddlers AND parents would be excited about (a doozy); the list goes on.

Despite the unpredictability of each role, one thing remained constant: sleep challenges. I struggled alongside children as they fought their overtired bodies and brains, and alongside parents in their desperate race to brainstorm solutions. As I embraced each role, loved each child, and heard each parent, my mission became clear: tackling pediatric sleep in a way that celebrated the resilience of tired, devoted parents, and growing, extraordinary children.

It is my belief that adults can learn so much from children. The way they experience the world is like no other. Each child has a spark: a beam of energy, imagination, and a passion for discovery. Each spark should be protected, projected, and celebrated. Those sparks dull as children experience very real challenges as new humans learning to navigate the complex world around them (and inside them!). I have always aspired to help children find and brighten their sparks. For the past several years, I have absolutely adored doing so in my role as a nanny. I am excited to now be venturing on a new pathway of achieving the same goal: to ignite little dreamlings. I would be so honored to have you join me.
